On friday I got ready for JPC.Because we had athletics day only middles and seniors go.

Mrs Todd and Mr volschenk said to go in your age groups.I’m 8 years old so I go in the 8 years old group.We did runing first  Mr volschenk said me and Byron needed to race in the lane no going on another lane.Mr volschenk  said ‘’on your marks get set then clap ‘’we raced to the white flag I got 6th then 5th and finish line I came

5th Sirus came 1st he is in Mill Hill.Me and byron are in

Mill hill too.After we did fox tail and this is how you do it so you grab the tail and swing it under and over and let it go.There were  three lines you can choose I choose the middle line soon it's my turn I tried my best but it didn't went far.when everyone has have an trun we went to the next activity  which was long jump we needed to sprint then jump long as you can they mark in the back of your feet so you need a long jump it went pomalia,mill hill,mackillop and whakae it was pompalias t.murn zach’s jump was very long he might win but Sirius gave mill hill back to the 1st place mark.

Chinese day.

This is the lantern we made it’s just made of paper we made this in room 16.A woman told us how to make it me and my class  just listen then we follow the steps

Step 1) fold the red paper to a rectangle then cut it to the end  of the paper

Step 2) glue it like a circle then put the blue paper inside and also put a Handle.

Thats your lantern you can put it at display but make sure you don’t light it on fire.

Yesterday it was chinese culture day.We did five activities our first activity was making a envelope.My class got an paper even me these are the steps to make a envelope.  

Step 1) Fold the right side

Step 2)Get the left side and glue it together.

Step 3) get the bottom  and glue it together.

Now you can make one.You can put cash or coins... But don’t forget to close the top

Also you can deliver it to someone.

Palm Sunday

On Palm Sunday Jesus rode the donkey to Jerusalem.When Jesus walked in Jerusalem people were waving there palms.The people said Hosanna. Palm Sunday is when Holy week starts.But the old king was very angry he told his Warriors to kill Jesus to kill Jesus on good friday.Jesus went into the temple he was angry because people were saleing things in the temple so he told the man to not sale here.

Tug of war

On Friday we did Tug of war we had to pull a big rope we were
in our houses. Our houses were called Mill hill, Mackillop,Pompallier,Whakaue. my house was Mill Hill
 we were against Mackillop,Pompallier and Whakaue.

On sunday me and my dad also his friend went to maketu beach to go fishing we woke up 5am in the morning

we use his friends car to get there in the back of his car it was our boat. We pull our boat all away there.

Soon we arived we put our life jackets on also put our boat down in the water I get in first when my dad finds a good

parking he parks in. Then we were on the boat and gone the 1st 2nd 3rd wave wasent big but the last wave was huge!.

We get reddy before the wave smashs us it got taller and taller then...smash!!! lucky my boat dident got capsized

I tolded my dad your a good captain me dad also his friend got wet and lots of water came inside then we were in

open sea we find a good fishing spot the good fishing spot is where reefs are and we see a reef we found one we got there and drop our anker down so we dont move we drop our line down I feel a bite but not yet then...Snap!I got a fish on Now this a is a big fish I hope at last we reached the limit and we went home.
